Ifsec 2010 Logo

We once again committed ourselves to the IFSEC 2010 Exhibition at the Birmingham NEC from the 10th to the 13th May.

IFSEC 2010 has been a great success for IPervoice, with many visitors to our stand being extremely complementary about the product and the stand itself. The stand was dedicated to the IPervoice system demonstrating ‘IP technology’ it was a technology show for Urmet this year.

We managed to attract new clients demanding, not only the IPervoice network for security but the IP upgrade to IPerhome media server with the tModo WiFi tablets demonstrating the DLNA compatibility in controlling home entertainment. IFSEC 2010 - IP Integrated Product of the Year....

We were also delighted to have been shortlisted for the Product of Year in the IP Integrated Security category at the IFSEC Security Awards 2010, this catagory was open to any product (excluding alarm transmission equipment) that enables the integration of security or management systems into a centrally controlled network, including intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, fire systems, barrier control, emergency lighting and building automation systems.
We were unfortunate in not winning the top prize but felt that IPervoice was well received by the judges and awards panel.

"The judges thought that your entry was an innovative solution for door access control in large multi-occupancy dwellings offering excellent variety of opportunities for integration with other security equipment giving the user a simple, easy to read display. The Ipervoice was marked against criteria for innovation, meeting the user's need, value for money and star quality. You may also add that the entries for the awards this year were of particular high quality and the IPervoice was chosen out of many other Integated solutions."

Alex Carmichael, BSIA Technical Director and Chairman of the Judging Panel

IPervoice is the first digital, all-CAT5 system, with IP-compatible external wiring and dedicated riser protocol.
With unlimited extension and number of riser columns, IPervoice is the ideal system for simplifying installation in residential compounds with a high number of users.Needs may also extremely various in such large systems, and Ipervoice has all the answers. Extremely versatile, it manages integrated access control, technological systems (CCTV, intrusion alarms, fire alarms) and many other functions, all from the videodoor phone system.

IPervoice: Urmet research and innovation brings you a solution just waiting to be discovered.

IPervoice exploits the very latest advances in IP/network technology to deliver dramatic savings in the cost of installing door entry systems by the use of structured cabling systems for large projects such as multi-tenanted apartment buildings and university campus residential units.

IPervoice is a PC based system that can be remotely accessed from anywhere on a network. "Property management companies in particular should find the functionality of iPervoice of great benefit. An unlimited number of 'virtual switchboards' can be added onto a network allowing operators to remotely monitor activity and control access to any building."

Any number of risers per building, up to 1080 users per riser, can use the system in any one building with up to sixteen monitors in each apartment or residential unit. There is no limit to the number of conversations which can take place at the same time and so iPervoice will never have 'busy' lines in buildings. This will particularly benefit buildings with multiple entrances.
